Built in my workshop and now for sale a handbuilt stitch and glue flat bottom plywood canoe. 13' 11 1/2" (4.25m) in length and 28 3/4" (732mm) wide with sealed ends. It is finished in grey on the outside up to the rubbing strip and white to the inside, the rubbing strip and the end caps. The joints where structural are filled with sawdust and resin mix and covered with fibreglass tape and resin. The seat is concave made from 2" strips of ply on a curved former, filled and fixed with tape and resin to the bottom and sides for strength.
