£100 · 1930's PAPER FACED 8 DAY WOODEN WALL CLOCK
Here is a 1930's paper faced 8 day wall clock. This was bought by my GDad for his Mom ( GGran ) when he picked up his first weeks wages. It hung on the wall in The Hare & Hounds Pub Dudley until she retired. Left to me by my Dad, but I had to downsize and I don't like winding it up. It runs for 8 days on full wind. First few days it gains about 5-10 minutes then gets back to the right time in say 4 days and then looses some and then stops. Since I can remember it has to be hung slightly on a tilt. I suppose if the workings were moved a little it could be straightened, but it's quirky.
